It had an ending similar to the ending in Dark City, and a similar main theme too, but I´m not sure I think it was that great. It had its moments though.

Finished the whole REC saga (I had only watched before the first two films). I recommend watching the 1st, 2nd and 4th films; they are worthwhile IMO. However, stay away from the 3rd one. It's absolutely awful LOL
