As expected, not a patch on Hitchcock's version. Generally lacking in the same psychological tension and near gothic horror atmosphere. I know there's some truth to saying that you can't beat the classics, but a part of me thinks that with all the modern advances in filmmaking and acting techniques a film like this should improve upon an 80 year old original, not seem a poor imitation of it.

This movie has a cult following among certain kinds of movie nerds because it's supposed to be one of those "so bad it's good" movies, like "Plan 9 From Outer Space". It isn't. It's just bad. Bad and boring, and a total waste of time.

I know I've seen that. That's about the only thing I do remember about this film. Just that I've seen it. 

I usually can recall a few key things/scenes about any movie I've seen even going back years. There are a few exceptions and this is one of them.
