A very gentle family oriented story, but I didn't find it particularly engaging.

OK, that was fucking brilliant. Ultra-violent, ultra-gory, fucking funny, and lots of swearing.

A rewatch of a Christmas favourite. The best live action Discworld adaptation.

That filmmaker has made some pretty great Danish movies...always moving between extremely dark topics and equally dark comic. I can easily recommend every movie made by Anders Thomas Jensen: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0421314/?ref_=tt_ov_dr

I've previously seen Men & Chicken which had some of the same cast as well. Odd film!

Better than I expected. A good cast, some great nasty monsters, and a reasonably good story.

Horror comedy time. There's some great one-liners (and some really shit ones too). RiffTrax helped too.

Some potential here, but it's more miss than hit from the Netflix comedy that somehow manages to make almost every character unlikeable.

Deliberately amateurish and melodramatic, but a bit of fun!

A Christmas zombie apocalypse musical. A bit of fun.

Gee, what makes ya say that?Wink

So Santa got stuck in Florida in the 1970s, and tells a bunch of kids a completely irrelevant Jack and the Beanstalk story, and then along comes a creepy bunny... Yeah, I don't really understand it either.

No, the RiffTrax version is no better than the Mystery Science Theater 3000 version.

Another classic ticked off. More enjoyable than what has passed for a 'teen movie' in more recent decades. Today considered a 'cursed' movie due to the untimely deaths of all three leads including James Dean who was already dead by the time of its release, while Sal Mineo was murdered by a mugger in 1976 and Natalie Wood drowned in mysterious circumstances in 1981.

Ho (ho ho) hum slasher film which caused massive controversy when it came out. Saw itself as a rival to Helloween/Friday the 13th/A Nightmare on Elm Street, but doesn't get within spitting distance of any of them. To no-one's surprise, Linnea Quigley ends up topless.

Why did I think watching this would be a good idea?
