Somewhere in here there is an excellent ghost story that sadly hasn't been given the space to fully mature, rushed into a sub-90 minute movie.

First of a series of 4 Japanese grindhouse movies starring Lady Snowblood herself Meiko Kaji. A must for fans of Asian cult cinema.

All plausibility ignored I maintain that the often maligned Waterworld is a damn fun movie. It's basically Mad Max on the sea. Watched the three hour cut in one sitting today and it's raised my opinion of the movie even further.

Years before I first saw The Thing that poster always made me assume that The Thing was some sort of humanoid creature that emitted light from where it's face should be that wandered the snow.

James Bond vs James T. Kirk #14

Huh? What in the actual fuck was that? Spock's rocket boots? Uhura's sexy fan dance? The God shit? A confused mess of a movie. On the bright side, Bones has some great comedic lines.

Not really a movie but since they're basically a mockumentary by this point:

I don't know why, but I'd never seen this:
Great soundtrack - something for everyone. And... this...

Wow, well maybe the other Santa Claus movie with MST or Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny (This movie is so bad that it's basically an avant-garde art house film without even trying to be) with Rifftrax would turn out better? LOL

It's bad and boring if you suffer through it without MST3K, the episode with this is one of my favorites.

I HAD that. Didn't help!Cry

I know I've seen that. That's about the only thing I do remember about this film. Just that I've seen it.

I usually can recall a few key things/scenes about any movie I've seen even going back years. There are a few exceptions and this is one of them.

As expected, not a patch on Hitchcock's version. Generally lacking in the same psychological tension and near gothic horror atmosphere. I know there's some truth to saying that you can't beat the classics, but a part of me thinks that with all the modern advances in filmmaking and acting techniques a film like this should improve upon an 80 year old original, not seem a poor imitation of it.
