I'm loving this one. Thanks Adam for pointing it out to me. I'm surprised you didn't review it higher.

Glad you liked it and I hope more people give it a go before our collab best of year event starts.

Regarding my score, this one has only grown in my estimation since I reviewed it, so don't be surprised to see my slip it another half star before I finalise my submission for the best of year list.

^ finally checked out this artist. sorry but this sounds like a milliion other artists. i know so many djs and have been to burning man where this stuff is played 24/7 with every sublte variation you can think of. this is pretty run of the mill although i do like this type of music. just nothing out of the ordinary for me is all :)

here's one for youl. metal meets psytrance. stooge gave me the go ahead to add this to industrial a long time ago but i haven't had time to do so but my kinda electronica (well my fave i like it all actually :)

Sound much better on a real album / cd

What album/songs did you check out? Deadmau5 has a quite varied discography. Get Scraped, Vexillology, Project 56, and While (1<2) are his most experimental releases.

I'll check out that Infected Mushroom, also still need to check out Shpongle.

^I assume you sampled his popular songs, which are ironically some of his worst. Here are some of my favorite tracks in a wide assortment of styles:

Trip-hop:
(Both from his new album)

Industrial:
Take Care of the Proper Paperwork (Probably my all-time favorite track of his): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_DXXEJ8Wl4

Glitch:

IDM:

Don't know what to call these, but they're great:

Sorry if these are too many, I'm kind of a fanboy. LOL

As much as I love The Pogues version of this song, I honestly think No Use For A Name did it better.

Tony Sly had such a sweet voice for a punk singer, and didn't slur it like Shane MacGowan.
