I look forward to this one. These Guys and Omnium Gatherum rule the melodic part of the Finnish death metal scene. I understand most people would put Amorphis on top, but personally I find them less appealing.

Now attempting my first full review without a d key. This is absolutely brutal! I have so many "errors" in just one paragraph, it's insane!

^Finished. The review is my longest in a while and looks great, but trying to edit in all those missing d's will be a pain in the ass!

^ Excellent on first listen though it hasn't beaten the last 2 as my favourite yet but who knows with a few more plays. I'd say their self titled 5th is their best at the moment.
There's some interesting stuff on the 2 discs of unreleased stuff. Some alternate versions though nothing beating the album versions, Solid live tracks well recorded and a number of covers the best of which is a version of Sheep by Pink Floyd which works surprisingly well as a metal track.

I've listened to this five times so far, utterly incredible. I had lost a little bit of faith in Insomnium but this brings it back in full. Fucking amazing.

Be excellent to each other.
