I couldn't really get into this one when I tried it. They really changed their sound here. It's certainly a rather unique sounding release to my ears though.

I usually think Aborted are alright, but seldom find them extraordinaire, but this "Retrogore" album is slightly more interesting than their usual output. I´d say it´s the best they´ve released since "The Archaic Abattoir":

Damn crazy album in a brilliant way for the most part. Would even draft rate it as high as a 4.5 but the last track has this really piercing noise effect in it that just goes right through me every time it occurs. I can't recall any other track that made me feel so physically uncomfortable.
