The last really good Entombed album in my humble opinion.
Neurosis - Through Silver In Blood
After countless attempts to get this album it finally clicks. |
This past week has been my first time listening to Entombed, so I've been listening to their albums in order. So far I've loved the first three and this one. This album kind of reminds me a bit of Corrosion of Conformity's thrashier songs.
And that Neurosis album is great, although I prefer Times of Grace.

KMFDM really has always had their signature sound, just add thrash metal guitar riffs and this debut doesn't sound too far away from their normal sound.

This is easily the best pure thrash album I've heard so far this year.

^I really want to listen to the whole album, but Spotify still doesn't have it and I couldn't find the whole thing on Youtube.
Now: Brutal mostly-live EP!

My first time hearing this I liked it, but wasn't as impressed as I thought I'd be, though I was still in the hospital and a bit out of it at the time, so hopefully it goes better now on a more concentrated listen.

Okay, this one is awesome. Definitely their best yet. The ambient parts are as nice as on the last album, but the production makes the death metal elements sound much better this time.

I´ve reviewed this one too, and it´s obviously a high quality release. To my ears it lacks hooks though and I don´t come away from the album remembering many of the songs. That hasn´t changed since the previous releases.

i'll agree with that. however he is a musical genius and some of those thoughts are outstanding however he is very much like other musical genii like Zappa, Prince, Sun Ra amongst others who has decided to release EVERYTHING instead of only the things that are actually worth hearing :O
