5 star album in my book. This one and the successor is the best Pantera ever did. Both incredibly good albums and among my personal favorites.

Great album indeed, I should listen to it more often. Probably would but my CD copy is busted as my old player got knocked over one day while it was playing. Never worked properly since. I always meant to re-buy it but never have.

I like the fact that Phil is still singing at lot on this album instead of his more raw screaming vocals on most of the successors. It makes this album quite a bit more melodic.

I gave their last one a 5/5 (though I'm not sure if it's going to keep it under my new rating system), so I've been pretty hyped for this. First off three new releases for today that I'm hoping to get a listen in with. Maybe the new Haken when I get to it will revive my love of prog.

Yeah that's definitely a plus in my book. I like Vulgar Display of Power quite a bit too, but have always preferred Cowboys from Hell.

One of the most difficult challenges in music is to deliver aggressive and raw music that´s still melodic, without ever losing power. Cowboys From Hell is a shining example of when the combination of aggression and melody Works really well ...and there´s certainly no power loss here.

Same here, this and the next one are both among my favorite albums as well. Every song on the two albums are amazing. I do really love Power Metal and The Great Southern Trendkill as well though.

I don't think it's going to be an album I listen to very often, but it was nowhere near as bad as it's often made out to be.

One of the first handful of CDs I ever bought. Also one of the very few I have ever bought not having heard the band first. Glad I did. Not as heavy as its successors, and all the better for it. Currently still listening to the ringing in my ears from Iron Maiden last night. There just doesn't seem to be anything appropriate to play at the moment, so tinnitus it is.

Never heard of this band before, but I stumbled across them on Youtube, so I decided to check them out.
