I was a huge Deicide fan when this album was their latest, and I remember when Legion came out, and I wasn´t as impressed by that one. Legion is of course still a pretty great album, but this debut will always be something special to my ears. "Lunatic of God´s Creation", "Carnage in the Temple of the Damned", "Day of Darkness", and "Dead by Dawn", are just some of the classics this album features.

I was exactly the same, up until I got Insineratehymn. Then I went back and rediscovered how absolutely brilliant the other albums were. It also helped they were going cheap on CD when I lived in Korea. I replaced almost all of my tapes.

Now playing: Silent Waters - Amorphis

Cold Lake - Celtic Frost. First ever listen. It's not very good, but I dunno that it deserves the slating it has always received.

I like all the Deicide but the first two are especially good.
Be excellent to each other.

To be honest, I've almost given up myself...the second album is better but still not the greatest! 'Definitely MUCH better melodeath bands out there!
