I'll probably revisit all their albums soon, in preparation for Underworld. Hilariously, I hated this back when it was out, and now it's possibly my favorite by them. Really weird how that worked out.

THE GROTESQUERY - Curse of the Skinless Bride cover
http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/grotesquery-the/curse-of-the-skinless-bride

Oh hell yeah. Another great old school death metal album with a concept supernatural/horror theme. I think The Grotesquery is one of the best death metal band´s today doing the retro style (along with Bloodbath), and they now have three solid releases to prove it.

TRIBULATION - Putrid Rebirth cover
http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/tribulation/putrid-rebirth(ep)

Surprisingly good death/thrash metal release from a band that went in another direction on their subsequent releases. This EP proves that they could have made a career in the death/thrash style too though.

^Yeah they are pretty great if you´re into the Whole early Carcass clone scene. Lots of artists like that out there, but General Surgery is one of the better ones IMO.

Musically good, though the vocals are a bit much for me.
