Fans of 1986 Slayer and Dark Angel, are recommended to take a listen to this one. Make sure you get the 2005 reissue though. There are 6 bonus tracks on that version, and they are all great.

Liturgy– The Ark Work

Only a couple minutes in so I can't give an informed opinion myself, but, from all accounts, this seems to be the most polarizing album by an already polarizing band.

Edit: Finished it. It's pretty bizarre. I had read reviews and heard the singles and generally knew what to expect and it was still one of the weirdest things I've heard in a while. I don't know what to think of it.

I've listened to the Ark Work 3-4 times and have really enjoyed it.
