I used to absolutely adore Obituary, but after "The End Complete" I kind of lost interest in them. In recent years I�ve caught up with the rest of their disco though, and I�ve become quite a fan again. One of the most distinct sounding death metal acts out there. If you are a sucker for John Tardy�s vocals, you should also check out Viogression, which has a singer with a very similar voice and delivery.

I've been really digging Cause of Death lately -- sometimes Obituary's fairly simple and straightforward approach doesn't catch me, but it's been really connecting with me lately. Especially Tardy's vocals and James Murphy's guitar solos... WOW! Shocked Thanks for the recommendation, Jonas. You're always the guy to count on for killer death metal recs! Thumbs Up
