Decided to buy the CD of this, and for the first time in my life I regret buying physical over digital.
Here's why:
This album consists of one track which lasts for 83 minutes, which is just a bit too long to get on a single disc, so it's split in two. That's not an issue for me as such, but knowing that you'd think the physical would also come with a download code so buyers could also get the full uninterrupted song. Wrong. I don't know for sure but I presume the vinyl version to be the same (where the problem would be even worse as the track is broken into four on the vinyl).
Also, this is one of the most shoddily made digipak's I've ever purchased. The front cover is on what is the back on any other digipak and the two discs come not in trays but flimsy paper holders that barely fit in the cardboard slots of the actual case that's supposed to hold them. It seems to have all been done in the name of keeping the digi as thin as possible. The whole thing just looks and feels like an inferior, badly thought out, product.

Great goregrind album this one. If you enjoy early Carcass but with thrash and traditional heavy elements, this is the shit...

Poor, does it fade out and back in again on the second disc?

The split does feel like it's done in a natural place but I can't recall if there was any fade out/in. Only played the disc version the once so far. I've been writing a review mostly through the Spotify stream.
