While the initial 'wow' has passed for me, I was listening to it again a week or so ago and still really enjoy it. Their lyrics cover many topics that aren't usually touched on in music. Great band, great album.

I like it a lot.  Great atmospheres and the songwriting is surprisingly developed too... even some nice guitar soloing. The production is a bit thin for my liking, but it is black metal from 1994 that we're talking about, so it's good enough.  Great Symphony X album too. It does little to develop their sound IMO, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.NP:  |
