Korn - One (Metallica Cover)

Pretty good cover actually, it's interesting to hear bass in the song.

You reckon?  I find it extremely painful to listen to.

Me too. They couldn't handle the solos so they left them out. Utter dicks. If you can't handle a guitar solo, COVER A DIFFERENT SONG!

That's one thing I found annoying, I agree that if you're going to cover a song you should cover the whole song. Dead

I´m not sure I agree with that (this is a general observation as I don´t know this particular cover). I often find that covers which are personalized and changed are far more interesting than faithful done covers. The latter are often boring and completely unnecessary.

I agree with that for the most part, I love covers that personalize songs. That's why I think Killswitch Engage's cover of 'Holy Diver' is one of the best cover songs, because they really made it their own. I just like the whole song to be covered, like Korn had their bass sound in the cover which I liked, but they could have still done the solo or even made their own solo. Smile

Don't take my word for it, because I'm extremely biased against Korn. Watch for yourself.

Now playing: Speed Kills 2.

It´ll have to wait until I get home. Flash is disabled on Work because of some malicious virus thing our IT manager has discovered.

One of my favorite covers is probably this one (tell me if it doesn´t Work, because I can´t check it myself):
