I'm not sure what the pattern is except for the second line of each stanza becoming the first line of the next stanza, except of the last stanza which is a repeat of the third stanza.   That and the last line of each stanza becomes the third line of the next stanza.

Ahh..hence the song name..  The Larger Bowl (A Pantoum).  I never bothered looking up what A Pantoum was, but admit that I was always curious.

Not a bad comparison! Big smile

It´s been a while since I listened to "Into the Mirror Black" the last time, but since I´ve just listened to and reviewed the new Sanctuary album, I thought I would give it a listen. It´s actually better than I remembered it. Very few artists from those days (or today for that matter) have made a more successful mariage between US power and thrash metal.

Nevermore has been a favorite for years and although "Dreaming Neon Black" isn´t my personal favorite by them, there are still some incredibly kickass tracks (and a couple of epic ones too) and the album. Whenever "I Am the Dog" kicks in, I´m sold Clap

I was going to suggest The Yardbirds for Proto-Metal....glad to see that somebody beat me to it and already added them. Clap
