Season of Mist just inked a deal with progressive metallers DISPERSE! The Polish bands sophomore album, which title is yet to be unveiled, should hit the stores some time next year. I'm so happy that this album is finally finished, guitarist Jakub Żytecki comments. I started to write some of the very first songs almost three years ago. As a band, we had a lot of ups and downs during that time, but thanks to help of our families and friends, we could push the things forward and finish what we'd started. Anyway, there was something that we had to change. We had to say goodbye to two of our members and take new people on board to create fresh and inspiring vibes in the band. Marcin & Przemek - thanks for the past. Maciej, Daniel, Wojtek thanks for the future! Signing with Season of Mist is a really promising step in DISPERSEs career. We can't wait to see where our common journey will take us! Thanx Michael and Co for your appreciation and support! |

I've never heard them, but, if one were to judge them on their appearance, they look more like a metalcore band than a prog metal band. Now, fortunately, it's only the music that counts.

I think they got lots of potential and can be one of the most interesting polish bands if they define their style a little bit more. I'd say they're a neo-prog rock/metal band (not metalcore at all )

I look forward to hearing their album - chances are that I'll receive a promo from SoM, which I will, of course, review.

They went from neo-prog on their debut album to djent; never understood why, way too different if you ask me, it surprised me. Not bad but a drastic change of sound.
