I've started playing this free game called Slender a week ago or so. I couldn't play alone too much but with some friends around it's loads of fun. If you guys don't know this game, you really should try it. It's scary as fuck!

Looks interesting, but I don't want to download it. It's more fun watching videos of people playing it on YouTube.

I've played scarier games that look better on Half-Life 1 engine

Hell, I've played scarier point-n-click adventures

Well, I'm not a gamer so to me this small and simple game is great - you play for 10 minutes and you have enough, no need to spend a week beating it. Graphics are indeed not perfect but I think textures are just fine and light works well. AI is good too, which is the best thing about this game.

As for point-n-click adventures, I'm looking for something with good dark atmosphere, could you recommend something to me?

easy, Crosshaw's Chzo Mythos series.

In order, 5 Days then 7 Days then Trilby's Notes then 6 Days.  Trilby's notes is actually text-entry, but is probably the most important of them to the storyline.

This one is quite funny if you've seen the new Batman:
