Wraiths are basically a mixture of drone, noise and industrial elements with metal undertones. Instrumental as far as I know. Very niche, and I'm not sure what genre best suits them beside avant-garde, if any.

I'm not sure it's explicitly metal, but if we do deem it metal then I'd say a-g is the place.

Any other collabs have thoughts?

Just noticed this thread. I've got three of their albums, and I've never thought of them as being metal, based on the albums I have.
Heres some youtubes,

Bump.

Did anybody else have an opinion on this?  So far we have 2 collabs saying "probably not metal enough"

This is the perfect example of an artist that would fit perfectly in a Metal-related sub but doesnt really qualify as being "metal" enough to fit into any of the subs we have now. If they are to be added I agree with Colin that avant garde is the only place where they would fit.

...there are several similar sounding noise/drone acts out there, so we probably have to make a principle decision here, if acts like that fit MMA as it is now.

I'd say it depends on how metal they get, because with this band I really don't think there is any metal here, but then again, KTL is here under AG, and they are basically the same as this band, so I guess it's whatever the AG guys think.

I'll drop this in the AG thread.

Sorry, rejected for A-G.  Good band, but not a fit.

Since this band seems to have been rejected, topic closed.
