All blind purchases, except for the Yes one.  My local resale shop had a buy 3, get 1 free deal (plus coffee) on Black Friday, so what the hell.  I must say it was pretty amusing watching thousands of people run each other over trying to get to the Best Buy next door.

I know that one's metal but I didn't want to make another post.  Thankfully I did not get any funny looks from the cashier over it.

I got the recently re-recorded Rick Wakeman - Journey to the Centre of the Earth 'fanpack'. This contains the new digipack CD, A 132 page magazine about the album, a large poster and a reproduction of the 1974 tour poster. I already have the original on vinyl & CD but this edition contains new music that wouldn't fit on the original vinyl format back in the day due to time restrictions.

I picked this stuff up at a guitar shop that also sells CD's and LP's yesterday:

The records were only 50 cents apiece, and the CD's were all pretty cheap too. Those Pendragon ones were all imports that I've been searching for for years (I've never seen The World cheaper than $35), so finding them all for $5-$7 each was definitely an unexpected surprise! Big smile

Yes The Yes Album album cover

Technically not really a "purchase". An early christmas gift I got tonight. I'm sure I'll have plenty more in the morning tomorrow.

Maybe, but I doubt it.  Probably just the imagine acting up.

Didn't get any metal for Christmas, but got some jazz and experimental music.

This Heat - Deceit (I've wanted this one for a few years)

The Roscoe Mitchell Sextet - Sound

Mal Waldron - The Quest

Alain Caron (le Band) - "play"

I asked for the Alain Caron because I'd previously bought a transcription book of it in a bargain bin, so I might as well own the album too.

I just picked up Arjen Anthony Lucassen's 'Lost In the New Real' from my local used record/cd store.

Have yet to listen to it, it'll go in the cd player later on tonight.
