Only the dead have seen the end of war.
Without music, life would be a mistake.

One of my favourite OSTs by Hans Zimmer.

^^ nice pickup on that Fastway disc. I just got that one recently as well, been meaning to upgrade it from cassette for, oh.... 20 years or so, haha.

I hit a Goodwill Store on my way to work every other week or so to scrounge thru the CDs, so I pick up quite a lot of "non-metal" stuff there.  Some recent discoveries:

Black Crowes - The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion
Queen - News Of The World
Beastie Boys - Licensed To Ill
Jimi Hendrix Experience - Smash Hits

Dunno if Rush are considered "Metal" 'round here or not (depends on who you ask, I guess) but I randomly came across the remaster of 2112 in a Rite Aid Pharmacy yesterday for $5.99, sweet deal.

I haven't heard it in dog years, so it'll be fun to revisit. I had it on cassette back in the day but lost it ages ago.

Must have bought 2112 3-4 times - vinyl, cd remastered cd. Just happy to stick with original vinyl copies these days.

A couple of decent cheez-rock scores from Goodwill:

Bon Jovi - s/t *
Loverboy - Classics: Their Greatest Hits

*I have long considered Bon Jovi "the enemy," but this is the album with "Runaway" on it and dammit, I've always kinda sorta liked that song. So for $1.99 I couldn't leave it there.

Bon Jovi's debut is actually quite nice, it's one of my favorites from them. Their first attempt at a ballad is the weakest song, although still listenable. Big smile
