Think the three most perfectest albums I know (doesn't HAVE to be metal, right?) are:

Oh, and for clarification on the middle album, that's Spiderland by Slint.

The only four albums I would consider perfect are The Voice of Steel by Nokturnal Mortum, Hemispheres by Rush, Brave New World by Iron Maiden and Morningrise by Opeth. There about a half a dozen other albums that come pretty darn close, but not close enough for me to consider them absolutely perfect in every single sense of the term.

Probably the only absolutely 100% perfect album I've ever heard. Try as I might, I can't find a single flaw here. Bowdown

I have found many flaws on this album. Hardly Pain of Salvation's best.

As for me, I may have to think hard on this one. Even though there are albums that really mare masterful and amazing, I can always see some kind of flaw or it demands some kind of mindset for me on thoroughly enjoy it. I'll edit this post with my answer.

Some that do get very close (alphabetically; only metal albums/artists):

Ansur - Warring Factions
Arch/Matheos - Sympathetic Resonance
Ars Nova - 7th Hell
Ayreon - Electric Castle, Human Equation, Y
Blind Guardian - Nightfall, Night at the Opera
Death - Human, Symbolic, Sound of Perseverance
Deep Purple - In Rock
DT - I&W, Awake, Scenes from a Memory, Six Degrees, Black Clouds

Machine Head - Blackening (it's the only album by this band I actually enjoy, though)
Matrz - Gritar
Maudlin of the Well - Bath/Leaving your Body Map
Mekong Delta - Dances of Death, Vision Fugitives, Wanderer
Metallica - Ride, Master, Justice
Mindflow - Just the Two of Us, Mind over Body
Myrath - Hope
Nevermore - Godless Endeavor

Interesting that you chose the Loft.  Care to share why?

And props for Jean Louis.

I thought of another one:

14 songs on that, and each one could've been a huge hit if this album had come out in 1985 instead of 2005.

How many classic albums do you know of that you can hear every song from the album on the radio? Boston - Boston, AC/DC - Back In Black, Michael Jackson - Thriller, Def Leppard - Hysteria to name a few. Gotthard - Lipservice is that good, too bad it was released by a relatively unknown band from Switzerland.

Agalloch - The Mantle
Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Atheist - Elements
Nevermore - This Godless Endeavor
Symphony X - The Odyssey
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Slayer - Reign in Blood (NOT one of my top albums personally, but it doesn't waste a moment)
Isis - In the Absence of Truth, Panopticon (I need to update my review, with even more time passing it has reached perfection status to me)

Non metal:
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
King Crimson - Red
Boston - Boston

Lateralus is of course brilliant, but considering the album has filler...that alone means it can't reach the "6 star" level in my book.

Megadeth, Metallica, Slayer and Testament. The real Big Four of thrash metal!

I took the liberty of putting an album of symphonic prog rock (Ashes Are Burning - Renaissance).
