Yes i know they are one of the pioneer neo prog bands but recently they have become way more metal and Dreams of Men is to me a prog metal album with neo influence more then a neo prog album with metal influence, their riffs are more massive and innovative then most recent prog metal bands imo, thier layerd atmospheres are killer and this is really a band i can se be a possitive addition to the archives, (so can Arena seam to be) but this is a Pallas Inclution thread

i think they have a fearly good chance on the bacesis of Dreams of Man only, couse to me that is a metal album, and as metal as it could be and are a good band to show how much evolution a 80s band can be abel to go though, htey are very good to reinvent themselfs.
this is not only heavy neo prog but progressive metal with neo influence.

this song is one of the most massive and amazing progressive metal songs i have heard

II bet some people are familiar enough with the band for me to not post a dussin samples, couse well the prog knowledge here seams to be for some reason quite good for a metal site Shocked

Definitely worth an evaluation by the Prog Metal Team, especially following XXV. Another heavy album.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Just remember that if they are added most of their material should be tagged non-metal. Im not too familiar with the latest releases by the band but their early releases dont have much to do with metal if you ask me.

the Dreams of Men is as metal as the Thersholds album Dead Reckoning

the attitude of that album is classical progressve heavy metal, cross of Dream Theater, and Rush with some AOR

The prog metal team has taken a look into Pallas and we have voted on whether they should be included or not based on their more recent couple of albums. The ultimately decision is no

Thanks for the suggestion regardless. Thumbs Up
