I prefer the 70s. I´m not a huge Judas Priest fan to begin with, but I really enjoy their first two albums.

70s, but I'm cheating myself a bit and counting British Steel as a 70s album.

70s for me.

I haven't listened to Priest as much as Maiden and they're definitely a band whose discography I'm due going through again, but I know that Sad Wings of Destiny is one of only two 5 stars I currently have on Priest and I'm also very fond of Stained Class and Killing Machine (Hell Bent For Leather to those of you on the other side of the pond).

Alternate answer, a single year: 1990. Tongue

If I had to choose (which is kind of the point of this poll😁) it would be the 70s.

I'll go 80's for British Steel, Screaming For Vengeance and Defenders Of The Faith and Ram It Down is not too shabby either.

80s for me, but the 70s are pretty close. I actually also quite like the two Ripper albums. My favorite is Painkiller closely followed by Turbo (yeah, go figure).

^ i like The Ripper albums too. They may not be perfect but JP did a much better job of adapting to a new singer than Iron Maiden did.

I don't mind Turbo but it's certainly not a top album.

Ram It Down is an excellent album to my ears though!

^ Yes I like the Ripper albums too, especially Jugulator. KK's Priest album with Ripper on vocals is sounding promising on the 3 tracks released so far.
