Very different choices...well I´ll go with Fates Warning. I like the Heir Apparent album a lot too though. I think I actually like it more than their "Classic" releases.

Okay, a couple I've heard here. In Mourning - Afterglow is a very decent album but not the best of this bunch. It's probably a tussle between Xandia, Be'Lakor and Fates Warning. I'm going safe with Fates Warning I think.

Black Moon Rising is very good but I gave my vote to Neverworld's End. Best symphonic/power metal album in a classic Nightwish-esque vein that Nightwish didn't make.
