Have you ever forgot you owned an album?

I had a strange experience this morning. I was going through numerous boxes of albums (where sadly a good chunk of the collection my husband and I share is kept, due to limited display space) and was quite surprised to find some albums I could have sworn I'd never even heard, let alone owned. The albums in question were various Neal Morse ones, which were notable because I remembered making a post on Adam's review of One (just over a month ago) specifically saying that I should check more Morse stuff out, as I'd only heard One, ? & Sola Scriptura. Now here I find I actually own Testimony 1 & 2, Lifeline, and some other stuff he's done such as a lot of Spock's Beard's discography. 

I've rebought on impulse an album that I later realised I already owned. It happens the other way too. I've gone looking for albums that I'm convinced I own, and find no trace of them physically or as a ripped download. Perhaps I used to have them on vinyl or cassette. 

I do that too. Not easy when you find a record shop though on your travels 

I´ve purchased the same Barclay James Harvest album twice (Octoberon), because I couldn´t remember that I had already purchased it...and with only a few months between the two purchases...silly me . What is more silly is, that I still haven´t had the time to listen to the album(s). So I´ve purchased the same album twice and haven´t even listened to it
