Top 100 Comedy Movies of All Time

I was appalled at that list....absolutely criminal exclusions on that list. Not to mention the inclusion of some movies that are so unfunny, people who voted for them should by shot.

So, I went ahead and made some changes to the list:

100. Wedding Singer -Good movie, some serious laughs there. It stays.

099. ~~American Pie 2~~ Easy A -I thought this one was well done and Emma Stone can do anything.

098. ~~Jackass 2~~ Scary Movie 3 -Better than either of the Wayans Bros attempts in the franchise.

097. Revenge of the Nerds. -Decent comedy in its day. Carradine's laugh still makes me giggle.

096. ~~Dazed And Confused~~ Fatal Instinct -I don't get the love for D&C as a comedy. Instinct, I do.

095. ~~Mr Deeds~~ Breakfast Club -Mr Deeds, no way in hell. BC? Some pathos, but TONS of laughs.

094. Coming To America -One of Murphy's best. He was firing on on all cylinders back then.

093. Black Sheep -Farley and Spade getting a little tired here, but still funny.

092. The Jerk -I see this movie and wondered where he went all wrong. Jerk is classic.

091. ~~Scott Pilgrim vs the World~~ Snatch -SPVTW, gets a few laughs. Snatch, gets laughs on Pitts accent alone.

090. Little Miss Sunshine -I liked it. I didn't laugh as much the first time, but more on repeated views.

089. Clerks II -Funny and gets extra metal points for including King Diamond...LOL!

088. Waiting -Some don't like Reynolds, I think his gift of quippy gab is hilarious.

087. Beverly Hills Cop -Balances laughs with action on a phenomenal level.

086. ~~Dude, Wheres My Car?~~ Cable Guy -Dude! Carrey's black comedy delivery is gut busting.

085. Me, Myself, & Irene -And he does schizo/nutbar even better

084. Road Trip -Seann William Scott and DJ Qualls save this movie from Tom Green.

083. Christmas Vacation -Easily the best of the series. My wife can still do the end rant on cue.

082. ~~Half Baked~~ The Longest Yard -Anyone who thinks I'm talking the Sandler version gets beaten up.

081. ~~Scary Movie~~ Let It Ride -Criminally underrated comedy with Richard Dreyfuss. See it, fools!

080. Dogma -Smith skews religion, offends many and still gets laughs.Tough act.

079. Blades of Glory -Barely stays on the list. Heder outshines Farrell in this, I think.

078. Van Wilder -One of the best college comedies and Kal Penn owns in this.

077. Naked Gun 2� -Nielsen deadpans it like nobody. Terrible shame he passed on.

076. ~~Rush Hour~~ Sex Drive -Clark Duke and James Marsden kill it in this one. Better than Rush Hour.

075. ~~Home Alone~~ A Night At The Opera -Marx Bros over Culkin any day of the week or month of the year.

074. Accepted -Came late to this one, but it won me over.

073. Plains, Trains, and Automobiles -Candy was brilliant and brought out the best in Martin in this one.

072. History of the World, Pt 1 -Would've loved to see him do a second one....

071. Hot Tub Time Machine -Loved seeing Cusack doing comedy again. Cuz he does it well.

070. Young Frankenstein -Brooks gets fantastic performances from everyone. Puttin on the RItz!

069. Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure -Funny movie, but Keanu's ventures into serious acting is even funnier.

068. ~~Jackass: The Movie~~ Raising Arizona -I get that Jackass is funny. But, Raising Arizona is waaaaayyy better.

067. ~~Kick Ass~~ O, Brother Where Are Thou? -I have to give some more love to the Coen Bros. for this comedy.

066. ~~Euro Trip~~ Monkey Business -Marx Bros are obviously left off this list because college kids are dumb.

065. Napolean Dynamite -I think what makes this movie is EVERYONE is insane or idiotic.

064. Get Him To The Greek. -Brand is genius, but the reveal of P-Diddy's comedic chops killed me

063.~~Zack & Miri Make A Porno~~ Top Secret -The ZAZ team follow up Airplane with another gem. Sacre Bleu!

062. ~~Beerfest~~ Strange Brew -Strange Brew has more laughs and better beer, eh?

061. ~~The Other Guys~~ This Is Spinal Tap -How the HELL did this movie not make the list? I call BULLSHIT!

060. ~~Ghostbusters 2~~ The Producers -Brooks over a half baked sequel. Shame this movie isnt more famous.

059. Jay And SIlent Bob Strike Back -Its all over the place and has low points, but is funny overall.

058. The Mask -Carrey didn't even need special effects for his facial antics

057. The Simpsons Movie -Funny, but how better it would've been made even 10 yrs sooner?

056. ~~Meet The Parents~~ Beetlejuice -Another headscratcher. How does Keatons finest shtick miss the list?

055. Something About Mary -Took my then 12yr old stepdaughter to see this. I was a bad dad....LOL

054. Men In Black -Giving this one a pass even though there are better comedies.

053. ~~Big Daddy~~ M.A.S.H -Sandler couldn't hold Sutherland and Gould's scalpels.

052. Wayne's World 2 -They boys were showing their age, but were still funny here.

051. Blazing Saddles -A movie that could never be remade in this politically correct day & age.

050. Clerks -One of the most quotable movies among all my friends and family.

I'll be back with the last 50 later. My fingers are pooped out.

Too much Will Ferrell, and WAY too much Adam Sandler. I don't have a clue what I would put in their place, but get Billy Madison and Talladega Nights the hell off of this list.

it's not even a matter of "understanding," it's just that they suck

I disagree with the order of a lot of them, haven't seen about 15% and disagree with the inclusion of a few.
Other than that, it certain is a list. They've got that much going for them.
