Yeah, definitely enjoyed that more on a 2nd listen. It's still no 'Mechanized Warfare' or 'Casting the Stones' but it's certainly FAAAR better than Dissident Alliance ROFL!!!

I never cared much for this one back in the day, but now that I'm giving it a shot without expectations, it's actually quite good.

Now:
I'm really digging this one on a revisit. I always liked it and Heritage much more than pale Communion, but so far it's even better than I remembered.

Probably my favorite of theirs since Ghost Reveries. It's more experimental at points, the way Heritage was, but the songwriting is more coherent and consistently entertaining than that album, imo. Can't wait to see what the next album will be like, now that growls are seemingly back on the table.
