Right now, I’m listening to Hozier’s new album on repeat. Also diving back into some classic Fleetwood Mac because their music is perfect for any mood. When I need to focus, I switch to lo-fi beats or film scores (Hans Zimmer never fails). Lately, I’ve been trying to learn piano again, so I’ve been browsing Musicnotes for sheet music, somehow, I thought Bohemian Rhapsody would be an easy choice… it’s not.

 https://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/hirax/faster-than-death I like Hirax; they're pretty fun speed/thrash metal, but I feel little miffed going into this one that we've been waiting for a follow-up to Immortal Legacy for over a decade and now we finally have it and it's an 'album' that doesn't even last much more than 20 minutes. That somehow that's not even the shortest 'album' in their back catalogue doesn't do much to mollify the feeling of immense disappointment before the music even starts. Just fucking call it an EP and be honest about it.
