Man I just can NOT get enough of this album! It's been on almost constant repeat the last couple of days. It's definitely shaping up to be my AotY!

http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/severoth/vsesvit Back onto 2020 catch-up. I actually own a Severoth album, yet haven't heard anything else from the project.

I´m a huge fan and have been since the early 90s, but this one doesn´t really do it for me, and I haven´t really felt the urge to revisit it again after writing my review, and that´s seldom a good sign. I had high hopes, but for me they haven´t been fulfilled. I´m glad to hear that others love it though, because Psychotic Waltz is one of my favorite artists, and I hope more people will come to appreciate their music in time. I saw them two times in the 90s and again a couple of years ago, and while I wasn´t impressed by their post-comeback gig, the two concerts I attended in the 90s are still some of the best gigs I´ve been to.

^Yeah it's definitely different from anything they've done before so it is quite understandable! I guess for me it just "clicks". I love it just as much as the debut. Really though, the debut ALONE should be enough for any curious prog(and any metal head) listener to check the band out! It's a legendary album, in my books.

One of my all time favorite albums, and it seems like it's gotten more underrated as time goes on. I know he's an acquired taste, but there's really no other rapper like B-Real and DJ Muggs is such an amazing producer. Wish he'd produce a metal album in his ominous and atmospheric style. (Cypress Hill did make a disc of metal songs, but the production was a lot different than the sound on this and Temples of Boom)
