Being a long time fan of Circle of Dust, don't know why it's taken me this long to really delve into Klayton's more well known stuff under his Celldweller moniker. This is awesome. Great mix of industrial, nu metal, drum and bass, breakbeat, trance, and other electronic styles.

I like it better than Heartwork. There's an extra edge of bitterness and frustration to it, with the band thinking it's going to be their last album.

I'd probably rate Heartwork and this album about the same, but honestly this might have the edge for having Keep on Rotting in the Free World which is one of the catchiest songs in death metal with such a great hook.

Before, watching/listening:

http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/album/ayreon/electric-castle-live-and-other-tales(movie)

Now, second listen:

First impression is that this won't go down as one of my favourite Ayreon albums, but it's excellent as always and will get many spins.

^Well I'd say I'm done checking out their music...seems kind of boring! Save for an album or two they come off as a rather generic-sounding death metal band.

These guys seem okay...nothing too special though. Fellow New Yorkers Suffocation and Immolation are definitely better, imo!
