22/40. Nice to see some love for samurai movies. I want to see the 'Samurai Trilogy' you've got in there as a matter of priority. I'd recommend Harakiri, Throne of Blood and The Sword of Doom as well if you haven't seen them.

I've just updated my own top 100 list. Now doesn't contain any movies I've only seen once. I will also be making a part 2 of this for contenders to break into my top 100: movies I've only watched once yet rated 4.5 stars (the highest I'll give now on a first impression).

I don't recall which lists I've posted here and which I haven't, so sorry if I already put any of these here, but they are a few lists I wish had done better on LC. Coming up with interesting lists both original and sourced isn't easy and it's always disappointing when you feel your best work is overlooked by the LC community. Especially when some other git comes along three weeks later and posts the exact same list and yet gets over 1000 more people use it, as happened with the first one here.

Part 5 of my favourite movies. I swear this is the last one, barring a possible compilation.

My list of Japanese movies seen hit the 120 update today: https://www.listchallenges.com/120-japanese-movies-adam-has-seen
This includes a few I forgot on earlier iterations of this list, namely Pokemon movies from childhood (my mind wasn't associating them as anime since they were dubbed).

Started a new list series:
Interested in which you think I should watch. Just note I took the first 100 from RYM regardless of what they were and there are definitely movies I would never watch in these. Plan to post one a day going back to at least the 1940s.

It hasn't always been the easiest movie to get here. When most Carpenter films were reissued here a while back, In the Mouth of Madness was neglected.
In fact I can't easily see a physical UK for it since VHS tape. I could buy it through Prime Video but I tend to only do that when movies are dirt cheap because I like my physical collection. I keep holding out for a UK blu-ray. I brought The Crow once. The DVD played for about five minutes then stopped working. Point Break I will watch as it is on TV this week.
