Consider yourself the lucky one Patrick.
New list. I'm challenging fellow list makers to make their own version of this, and I hope some of those here who have made lists will take part. Inspired, obviously, by Desert Island Discs. But for movies. |

A short one. I've decided that these must be my ten most loathed movies I've ever watched.

https://www.listchallenges.com/the-true-top-100-movies-of-all-time
I made a custom top 100 movies list using RYM's data, based on the following criteria: 4/5 minimum average rating. Most rated movies on the site. With a score variance ranging across a minute 0.3-0.5 range across all 100 films that made the cut, the movies were ranked by total ratings rather than by actual score, so the higher ranked it is, the stronger the average score actually is. Hardly anything breaks the 4.0 barrier on RYM. I've a few mixed feelings on what made the cut myself because there's some movies I thought were pretty boring in here as well as one of my most loathed films I've ever seen (Love Exposure) but the idea was to try and make as close to definitive top 100 of all time, and I'm not sure how it could be done more objectively. My own score is 68/100.

A counterpart food list to the last one, things this finicky eater has actually eaten.

25 on that food one. Insects are usually quite nice when fried. I wouldn't touch raw blood or horse jizz (risk of disease) but I've eaten boiled blood soup in Korea. Have also eaten dog meat and haggis.

I’ve had those large black scorpions in China, and crickets in Cambodia (plus other shit). Crickets were nice. Ant curry in Vietnam was amazing. The scorpion was bloody horrible. The pincers are like crunching through plastic, and the body is full of vile goo.

Made something in a different category for a change. Tell me, have you, or would any of you, eat these things? Because I'm sure as fuck not.

Thanks guys for filling it out.
Every use of my lists pushes me up the rankings. I don't normally share the short ones here, but I do have a lot of short ones (10 items) on my account that are very quick and easy to fill out, unlike that one. I wouldn't normally ask it, but I would appreciate it if anyone were willing to use a few here and there. I'm losing ground fast in the rankings to my primary rival, a person who have previously tried to hijack a list series I was actively working by completely imitating my style and copying my list descriptions and regularly reposts third party sourced content that I (and many others) have already put on LC, within a short space of time. And gets rewarded for it by LC whose social media manager seems to be trying to fast track this person to the top (over 100 lists shared in under a year and that was a few months ago, at the same time I had an estimated 83 in several years) and I'm doing everything in my power to stay ahead of this person. While at the end of the day it shouldn't matter what my place in the rankings is, it's going to be a kick in the teeth if this person, currently going under the name 'noonelovesme' manages to overtake me given their behaviour toward my work. They have been reported for list copying a number of times already and even have had over 50 lists disabled, but LC's social media guy still keeps favouring them with increased exposure. ^ I unfortunately can't sort by length here, but this gives many 10 item lists at the start, which would give me quite a boost.

Haven't posted here lately, but here's the joint longest list I've ever done. One hell of a slog to make.
It really helps me out in terms of the LC rankings the more people use my lists, even if you only click one item and save your progress it will register as 1 user on my stats. Right now I'm pushing toward breaking into the top 15 list makers, and then onto the top 10.

I used RYM's user scores to rank every Best Picture winner for this next one:
Parasite is the 3rd highest rated of them all! Only beaten by Godfather 1 & 2.
