Ok, rumors have been circulating for what seems like forever about the big 4 touring again. However, Metallica posted this on their Facebook page today.

The four are indeed playing at Sonicsphere in Europe together, but this seems to indicate a tour. Awesome? Yes.
Lost respect for these archives when I saw Creed added, among other bands. Not going to be foruming here anymore. You can keep my reviews if you want.

Not that I'd be really interested in any of those. LOL

Yeah, that's another problem LOL
While money is much better this is an expense I will need to foot, and I don't want to know how much it will cost Cry

Agreed on the costly part. Not sure I want to shell out what they'll be pricing things at when they come around. Sure, those bands are great (don't particularly care for Anthrax myself), but there are plenty of other bands I enjoy better that will come around my city, and I'll be more than happy to see them without parting with a possible fifty bucks or so.

It is cool that the four are touring finally. Sad that they're all more or less a shadow of their former selves. Megadeth's still great though, but far from what they used to be. At least the classic material doesn't go away.

Im sure a gig like this will cost at least 1000 Danish kroner and thats quite a lot for someone like me. Add to that transport costs, Beer money ( and thats a lotBig smile) and money for some nasty fast-food when I get the hunger and were maybe talking somewhere between 1500 - 2000 Danish Kroner for one night of metal. Thats about $250 - $350, but this will be worth it.

Sweet Jesus, that is an expense I really do NOT need...but so much thrash!
I know they did a few shows in Europe, are they ever going to do a legit tour?

If so I have to assume they will make it to the states LOL

Guys, sorry to bring this dead thread back, I was watching the DVD today (http://rateyourmusic.com/release/video/various_artists_f2/metallica___slayer___megadeth___anthrax___the_big_4___live_from_sofia__bulgaria/) and couldn't find the entrance here on MMA to review it.

Or I just didn't know how to look for it? cause neither the search, neither google find it here LOL

Here as well: http://www.thebig4sofia.com/

I'll try to have the time to add it later today Smile Guess it's going to have to be added in all four artist pages separately.
