I'm a huge fan of metalcore that draws heavily on thrash, stuff like Shadows Fall, Walls of Jericho, and early Snapcase. Anyone here also a fan and have some recommendations for more bands to check out?

Here's some examples of what I mean:

Just taken delivery of an old CD, Johnny Truant and In The Library of Horrific Events. Thrash based but also draws on death, this is heavy as fuck, progressive metalcore. Not an easy listen but superb if you like extreme thrash based metal.

Sorry I was trying to think of something obscure and different rather than the usual Killswitch-type suggestions (who of course are a quality band themselves). I’ll try and find some time to come up with some proper more mainstream suggestions too 😉

You might enjoy Heaven Shall Burn, Khaliq. Trivium you’ll know. Also God Forbid perhaps?
