Former CELTIC FROST bassist Martin Eric Ain died yesterday (Saturday, October 21) after suffering a heart attack at the age of 50. His death was confirmed by Ain's close friend Jan Graber, who told Switzerland's 20 Minuten that Martin "suddenly collapsed when he switched to a different tram."

R.I.P. He really brought a great heavy bottom end to Morbid Tales and Monotheist.
If I say fuck two more times that's forty-six fucks in this fucked up rhyme

How he and Celtic Frost influenced the branching of the heavy metal family tree is just a bit below Black Sabbath. I think there are at least 48 different bands covering Dethroned Emperor on YouTube. He was way too young to go (only four years older than me) but what a footprint Martin left behind! I will raise a glass to you, sir.
A story told that can't be real somehow must reflect the truth we feel.

RIP Martin. Monotheist is one of the best metal albums ever made.

And Tom Warrior wrote a text about him in his blog: http://fischerisdead.blogspot.com.br/2017/10/martin-eric-ain-1967-2017.html
