Tried to add an artist and the whole thing has gone to some kind of "error" screen. Probably should have taken a screenshot but didn't think of it at the time. The artist is "Sick Speed", they are listed under S, but when you click on their name it just goes to that screen. Did I do something wrong???

Sometimes adding an artist screws up like this for no apparent reason. Best bet is to ignore it and try again.

Another thing you can run into trouble with is if the band name isn't just plain English letters and numbers, but with a name like that it shouldn't be a problem.

No luck. Says I can't submit it as it's a duplicate of another artist.
Aw well. Not to worry. Can't see there being too many Sick Speed fans around anyway.  |

I see what's happened.
The artist somehow duplicated when you tried to add them, and it's defaulting to the profile in the S artist list with this URL: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/artist/sick-speed(united-states) A working profile that isn't in the artist list because it has no releases on yet is available here: http://www.metalmusicarchives.com/artist/sick-speed You should be able to pick it up with this one with no problem.

I had trouble adding an album last night, until I figured out I'd tried to put in a Word doc instead of a .jpg for the album cover art. So don't ever do that people!

Well, that seemed to work. I've added an album, but I still can't get to the page without going via this thread. Is there any way I can delete the duplicate or anything that can be done about it?
