Now from Screaming Bloody Gore, we enter the Dark Medieval Times. Vote your favorite classic black metal debut, and feel free to list your favorite if I left it out.

I'm going with Immortal, but Dissection and Satyricon closely follow.

Khaliq, Soulside Journey is not a black metal album!

Also, a major omission and one my vote would likely have gone to.

I know, but Darkthrone is a black metal band. I didn't think it would have made much sense to put a Darkthrone album in the death metal debut poll.

You could have just listed A Blaze in the Northern Sky. That is technically their black metal debut even though it's not their true debut album.

Can't believe I forgot Ulver, and just realized I forgot Enslaved as well.

I'm just going to make a new poll. Wacko

And Windir! One of melodic black's biggest names after Dissection. Although I do think the debut is the weakest of their four albums.
