REV 16:8 � the Swedish metal band formerly known as BLOODSHED � has inked a deal with Germany's AFM Records. The band's second album, "Ashlands", is scheduled for release on April 8, 2011. The CD was recorded at Necromorbus Studio (WATAIN, NOMINON, AVERSE SEFIRA, FUNERAL MIST, MORK GRYNING, ADORIOR) in Alvik, Sweden between May and July 2010 and was mixed and mastered by Sverker Widgren. The cover artwork and layout was handled by Rafael Tavares. Guest vocals on the track "The Chase" were provided by Acerbus of ONDSKAPT.
