I've been really getting into this band lately, especially III Sides to Every Story, Waiting for the Punchline, and their last album. Nuno Bettencourt is a criminally underrated guitarist, his riffs and licks are absolutely killer. They have such a kick ass combination of funk rock/metal, heavy metal, and King's X-esque melody. Anyone else here like them?

Here's one of my favorites:

Yeah I actually used to listen to these two albums a lot:

EXTREME - Extreme II: Pornograffitti cover
EXTREME - III Sides To Every Story cover

I own Waiting for the Punchline too, but it never really fell into placed:
EXTREME - Waiting For The Punchline cover

I actually recently found ...three sides on vinyl, so I own it on both CD and vinyl now. I agree with Nuno´s playing skills. THEY ARE THROUGH THE ROOF. The man is an incredible guitarist, but the rest of the band are well skilled too. I remember their heyday and they were a pretty big band back then. "More than Words" got them mainstream attention and almost constant airplay on MTV, but there´s so much more to this band than that ballad.

Yeah, it's always sad when a band gets popular with a song that isn't representative of their overall sound at all.

Their most recent album is really good as well, this song in particular:
