The current top glam metal albums on MMA, vote your favorite.

This is an easy choice for me, Shout at the Devil. Dr. Feelgood a close second.

Aerosmith. Permanent Vacation was a great comeback album and they've never bettered it since.

I've not heard one of them. Not even GNR in full.

You might like Shout at the Devil and some of Dokken's material, as it's basically traditional heavy metal with glam lyrics and image.

Good call. I voted Dokken (though disturbingly there are quite a few albums here I really like - perhaps it's my age) and they are pretty much trad in sound.

Appetite For Destruction redefined mainstream and glam metal. It showed it didn't all have to be about big hair and big tits, or recycled blues riffs.

Appetite for Destruction is THE essential release in the genre.

Believe it or not, I actually enjoy quite a few releases in this style. I appreciate how over the top and tongue in cheek naughty it often is. Primal rock´n´roll with a bit of glam bling bling LOL.

Yeah, some glam metal is quite good, and a lot of it is fun. Stupid but fun.

GN'R. But Skid Row and Aerosmith are close behind.
A story told that can't be real somehow must reflect the truth we feel.

And it's not near as embarrassing now to admit you like some of it as it was in the 80s and 90s.
