This was probably the hardest, so many great albums I had to leave out.

25 for me though you could probably double that if I included the ones I've heard part of.

22 out of 60 on the April listens. Started off well but hadn't heard as many later in the list.

I love the singles, but the rest of the album's unsurprisingly pretty boring.

I grew up with those singles. Thriller was popular around the time I was 10-12.

Such a fantastic year for music.

That it was, but they weren't playing much of it on the radio. It was absolutely fucking dire!LOL Fucking INXS, U2, Rick Astley, Bros, Milli Vanilli, Michael Jackson...

Then they started doing a phone-in thing for the top 9 at 9. All of a sudden, they had to play Iron Maiden's "Can I Play With Madness?", various Def Leppard singles, and then Guns n Roses hit number one every night for weeks on end with "Welcome to the Jungle". And then the radio station changed format, and they didn't do the phone-in thing any more.Big smile

The best music typically isn't on the radio unfortunately, or they'll kill what are actually good songs by overplaying them (Such as the big Guns 'n' Roses hits). LOL

I think the only station that takes requests (at least regularly) around here is the local college station, which is real hit or miss. Sometimes they'll play some great classic alt rock (Actually got into The Tragically Hip from hearing Grace, Too on there), industrial, and even metal and electronic music, and sometimes it's hipster shit.
