So do I, they remind me of Anthrax in the sense that they generally have a great balance between fun and seriousness, though Toxic Zombie Onslaught is more silly than serious lol. Discovered them through the remake of the Black Metal Sucks video from Do Over a few years ago or so.

It's still my very favorite from them, and I remember laughing my ass off when I went to the song's original video and saw all the butthurt black metal fans (To be fair, there were several that could take a joke too) in the comments and the band's comebacks. One of my favorites:
Lich King: I like to imagine you saying this clenching your fist in an Emperor shirt. "TRUE DARKNESS AND TRUE METALLLLL!!!"

I know we both really like US and German power metal from the 80's and 90's, but like I said, it's hard to just pick 100 albums for the 80's and 90's so I left a lot more albums I love out.
I'm all over the place with the 2000's, and the 2010's will probably end up looking similar. |
