Made something new (kind of a rework of an old long abandoned series). First of four planned parts covering the 80s, 90s, 00s & 10s.

I didn't make much of an effort (read: any) to make sure all these albums are actually on MMA, they are taken from RYM's more extensive charts. I've tried to balance it as much as possible as a three way split between hardcore, hard rock and metal albums, but a lot of hard rock albums crossover with heavy metal and there's a few ones picked from the hardcore list that are filed as crossover thrash, but it should be more or less balanced rather than metal dominated.

Sadly I only got 27.

A paltry 17 - mainly comprised of metal everyone should know and the rest being punk.

Pleased to Descendents featured. Incredibly talented punk band who don't get anywhere near enough recognition.

I quite like these lists. There’s some I’ve not listened to for a good which I should revisit, and some I’ve never heard of which I should probably investigate.

44 for the 90s. It really shows how the genres diversified during the decade. There's a much wider range of bands.

My August list. Another short one. Most of these were listened to at the start of the month. It's been a lot of partial albums since then, if anything. As usual these days, enjoying my film collection too much.
