Sucks that they cancelled it with three books still to adapt. Season 6 would have been the logical stopping point if they were going to duck out of the show early, but season 6 then went and included all the set-up for book 7.

Unfortunately the ending left many lose ends, and it´s feels like they were forced to wrap it up (which they were). It´s still one of the greatest sci-fi tv-series ever made though (although my personal favorite will probably always be Battlestar Galactica).

Finished this one today and man, waiting a whole month for the last two episodes isn't going to be easy but it could be worse, like those shows that go on 'mid-season break' and are then off air for months on end.

On the bright side this could easily be revived some years down the track, since book 7 features a time jump of 30 years.

It could be like Attack on Titan, and have its "Final Season" split into three different parts, each separated by a year Between a combination of having terrible short term memory at this point, and preferring to binge things in general, I'm going to wait until about a week before part 2 drops, watch episodes 1-7 one episode at a time, then be caught up just in time for the final two episodes. I've heard (mostly) good things from my brother, though from what he told me, it sounds like I'll really love one plot line, and be less excited about the others, lol

Series 2. So fucking funny! Just started on this. Looks and feels amazing. Series 2. A rewatch. I never finished it the first time around, and not sure how far through I got.

Just started watchin season 2 of Raised By Wolves and it looks promising. I liked season 1 a lot, especially in retrospect I´ve begun to think of it as quite brilliant.

Binged this across the last three days:
This is apparently a miniseries because the creators consider it a self contained story that won't leave any loose threads...what bullshit. The final episode leaves a major plot development that was only introduced in the penultimate unresolved and not fully explored, but also leaves the fates of several key characters up in the air. A total cliffhanger ending in other words.

Started the latest MCU show Ms. Marvel last night:
After the unexpectedly more mature Moon Knight, this returns to a more familiar MCU tone. Probably closest to Spider-Man: Homecoming than anything given the age of the main character.

I wasn't too fond of the sitcom stuff, especially in the first two episodes where it was so annoying I almost switched it off, but the actual story was quite interesting once it got going. The finale was kinda iffy and felt totally different from the rest of the series, but episodes 4-8 were excellent in general, and even the finale had some great moments. ELizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany were both fantastic, and really helped carry the series through some of those weaker parts. Overall, not my favorite MCU experience, but quite good overall. I suspect I'll enjoy at least Loki more as far as Disney + series go, though.

Just finished the Second season of Raised by Wolves, and it´s definitely a decent show. Loads of puzzles still needs to be solved in the new world: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt9170108/ hmm...it seems to have been cancelled, so that´s a real shame considering all the loose ends.

^ That sort of thing is why I've come to really hate the TV industry. Have never seen that particular show but so many I've enjoyed have been cancelled before their time.
Sad fact of the TV world is that studios will rather make multiple seasons of a cheap crap show than an expensive brilliant show. And TV writers need to fucking learn how fickle the suits with the money are and know how to write something that won't be left dangling forever when the show makes one penny less than the suits expected...these days cliffhangers are just a middle figure to audiences.

Finished this. There were a lot of complaints about the quality of the last few series, and the finale in particular, but fuck the complainers. I loved it. It wasn't a traditional Hollywood ending, and the fate of most of the characters was left uncertain, but that made it better because you can decide for yourself where they end up. It also leaves it open for sequels or spin-offs. I saw this as a kid, but that was 40 years ago.

I'm throwing two shows into the rotation that have been out for a while that I'm using my free few months on Netflix to take advantage of watching, Squid Game and Peaky Blinders. I'm only three episodes into each of them, but like both in different ways.

It got a bit messy at points, with some plot lines certainly being FAR more enjoyable than others, but even the earlier episodes were more good than bad for the most part episodes 4 and 7 in particular were amazing. The 2 part finale, though, was absolutely fantastic, and probably the highlight of the series up to this point. I definitely plan on rewatching the whole series sometime between now and when the final season starts, to be fully prepared.

Found these from back to the beginning, which I didnt see at the time as it wasn't on NZ TV. Started on this. Since I watched the American one, decided it was time to get back to the original. Nearly done with series 4. No one comes off particularly well, although I do like princesses Anne and Margaret.
