There's no artwork or anything avaialbe yet, but my most aniticipated album for the rest of the year is Epica's newest, The Holographic Principle, on October 1st. They've been on quite the run lately, so it should be awesome.

Seems to be more songs pirate themed too, as per their classic years.
Mind you I did think their last one was their best in quite a while, so I do have a little hope. Maybe not much hope, but a little.

I still need to finish listening to Running Wild's discography, so I'm not familiar with their recent work, but I've heard it's pretty bland. Hopefully the new album will be great.

I saw them open for Evanescence back in 2011. They were quite good, live. If you like Led Zeppelin and '70s rock, you'll like them. I chat on another (guitar) forum with the guy that makes the green Firebird-looking guitar that the Rival Sons guitarist plays. Doug Kauer, Kauer guitars. Nice guy.

Just an EP rather than an album (that's coming in early 2017 - we should edit this thread to be called The Upcoming Albums Thread really). The two new songs are said to be on the next album too which lessens the value of this IMO, but I am interested to hear the re-recorded songs.

^^ Awesome! Looking forward to that one. I saw Evergrey last year in Cleveland, maybe 50 people showed up. They still put on a really great show, much better than the last time I saw them in 2011 with the Glorious Collision lineup. Oceans Of Slumber, Borealis, and Voyager opened for them.
We are almost half way thru 2016, and I haven't heard anything yet that truly knocks my socks off. Haken - Affinity might be my AotY so far, and I think it's a good but not great album. Dream Theater - The Astonishing was a huge disappointment, and lesser disappointments for Headspace - All That You Fear Is Gone, and Redemption - The Art Of Loss
