^WOW! I'm quite the fan of classic Rush, and that cover is insanely good. It almost makes me disappointed to hear they didn't let the new vocalist do clean vocals on the rest of the album, because he sounds great.

It's 12 tracks and apparently just under 80 minutes, so that really isn't much longer than normal for their newer albums. Still quite long, though. The title track is only 3 minutes, at least in the video.

I'll have a listen tomorrow.
At the very least this can't be worse than Lulu. I wasn't expecting a double album from them though. Hopefully it actually warrants that and doesn't end up being completely dragged out past its welcome. |

The new Metallica album is called Hardwired... to Self-Destruct, lol! It's out on November 18th.
Here's the cover art and title track:  I actually really like the title track, shockingly. Hopefully the rest of the album is that good.

I'm very excited for that new Mare Cognitum album. One of the best black metal acts I've heard IMO. The split/collaboration with Spectral Lore (also excellent BM) is a masterpiece.
