Nightmare (France) have released their first song with Magali Luyten:
I'm a bit torn, because Jo Amore was my favorite thing about their music, but this song's pretty cool, and obviously Magali's a great singer as well. The cover art for the album looks nice:  |

As the World Bleeds is great, but I actually prefer their second album, Mirror of Souls. That 22 minute title track is something very special. The new album doesn't have anything like that, but I think it may be their most consistent album yet.

Their last album, As The World Bleeds (2011) is a killer power/prog-metal album. Mostly power metal but you can hear a slight progginess to it. It's probably my favorite album from 2011

Interesting, wasn't expecting a song like that from KATL. Reminds me of Devin Townsend actually. There are some cool riffs there, but I easily preferred the previous song released.

Being a big Jethro Tull fan that new Opeth song hit the spot for me as it had a strong Tull vibe. I've got high hopes for Sorceress as I really enjoyed the title track too. It's rumoured there's going to be some heavier moments too though whether they're metal or not remains to be seen.
Testament also sounding great but they'll have to go some to beat the last 2 albums.

Awesome song, can't wait for the album!  I didn't care for that Opeth song, I loved the title track, but the new song just sounded so generic.

^That song's pretty good. It's clear they're not really metal anymore, but at least that's a well written song, where some of the stuff on the last album was just a total mess, imo, and the title track for the new album kinda felt the same. At least this is one of their better softer songs.
That Testament song did nothing for me. It has some good riffs, but on the whole it feels bland and forgettable. It's weird, because I liked their last album a lot, but I tried the one before that and didn't care much for it, and now this one doesn't look great either.

New one from Arkona coming in November, albeit a re-recording of their first one. I normally wouldn't be too interested by a re-recording but Arkona didn't use real folk instruments in their early days (that started with their third album), so unlike most albums of its kind it should be an improvement.
