That sucks, depression sucks. Hope you start feeling better soon, I know it can be hard, especially with how the world is these days

Thanks guys! Honestly, I feel better already! Turned out I just needed some rest. It's amazing what a nap and good sleep can do for your mental well-being. I'm an insomniac so those can be hard to come by sometimes.

If I don´t get my rest, I get depressed and snappy towards my surroundings. I don´t have a clinical depression or anything like that though, but lack of sleep gets me every time.

That sounds incredibly unhealthy. I hope you´ll eventually find a solution on your sleep issues. It´ll hopefully also solve other things for you, or at least bring you some energy to fight.

I´ve just returned from a crazed drunken night wacthing this lineup play: Critical Mess Hate Belphegor I am Morbid. I promise you that the latter are well worth the experience, and I actually think I´d watch them before watching the real Morbid Angel these days. Great concert.

A little worried here. We have a decent chance of a tornado tonight and have no basement. I'm more worried about the animals though. Praying we don't get one!

^Sounds terrifying. I can´t imagine living in places with a chance for natural disasters. I´ve lived my whole life in Denmark, and the worst things we have here are the occasional flood, a hurricane/huge storm every 25 years, and one very minor earthquake in my entire life.

^Yeah. We live in the northeast so tornadoes aren't very common in our area...still, praying for a quiet night!

As someone who's lived through big arsed earthquakes, I understand the anxiety. Fingers crossed it comes to nothing.

I went to see A-ha friday night with my wife and friends, and although the concert wasn´t exactly a revelation, it was decent enough. I went to pee at the wrong time though, as they played "Take on Me" while I was at the toilet . I´ve mostly attended metal concerts through my life, but I´ve seen other types of concerts too. I´ve seen Cher, Air, A-ha, Depeche Mode (several times), Eels, Porcupine Tree, and some others, and it´s always interesting to see how audiences at those kind of concerts behave, dress, and move. There´s such a big difference, and I can´t help miss the heavy metal brotherhood I alwasy feel when I attend a heavy metal gig.

Yeah, non-metal concerts can be weird.
Seeing Neil Diamond was funny because it was a stadium show, and we were sitting in the grandstand. All we could see was a sea of white heads. Took my mother-in-law to see Kris Kristofferson, and there were a few people dressed up as cowboys.

I've been to loads of metal and non-metal gigs but the furthest thing from metal I will experience in gig form is when I take my mother to sew Crowded House next month (although it's supposed to bs a treat for her, I'm still looking forward to it). In contrast, I have Meshuggah the week before. All about balance

Guy from Chile plays Fear of the Dark on guitar and drums simultaneously and sings as well. |
